Italian Bolognese-Stuffed Sweet Peppers (raw peppers)

Traditional Lasagna alla Bolognese

For Best Results:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Remove plastic lid and cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.

If UNFROZEN (Fresh):

  • Bake covered with aluminum foil for 30-40 minutes, or until peppers are tender and filling is heated through.
  • Remove foil during the last 5–10 minutes for a browned top.
  • Ensure internal temperature reaches 155°F.  Let rest 10 minutes before
  • Cook within 2 days of purchase for optimal freshness.

If FROZEN:

  • Bake covered with aluminum foil for 50-80 minutes, or until peppers are soft and the filling is hot throughout.
  • Remove foil during the last 10 minutes to brown if desired.
  • Ensure internal temperature reaches 145-155°F.  Let rest 5-10 minutes before
  • Cooking time may vary depending on your oven.

Do not refreeze uncooked product.
After cooking, cool and freeze leftovers promptly.
